The Gibson F-25 Folksinger was introduced in 1963 alongside the dreadnought body shaped FJN as folk-inspired flat top guitar with a wider 2 inch nut width. was introduced in 1963 to replace the previous LG-3 model in the Gibson catalog. The F-25 was not a particularly successful endeavour for Gibson, but the model has endured to now become an interesting collectors item for vintage flat top enthusiasts. The F-25 is constructed from a Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, with a belly up rosewood bridge and straight saddle. This model from 1968 is a great instrument, with a wide open sound that is superb for finger style playing, with a wider nut width and comfortable late '60s neck profile.

This guitar is in very good condition, with the kind of minor wear you would expect form an guitar of its age. The original double line Kluson tuners function as they should, and the factory fitted single ply white double guard has been retained. This guitar has also had a Fishman Rare Earth sound hole pickup fitted. This guitar includes a non original case.

As with all vintage instruments, this 1968 Gibson F-25 has been given a full service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
